Common questions about physiotherapy, and what to expect from us.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?
No. You can book directly with Kairos Physio.
How long is the first appointment?
A full 45 minutes — history, examination, diagnosis and a written plan.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the condition. We give you an expected range at the first visit and
reassess as we go rather than selling open-ended packages.
Do you do home visits?
Yes, across Panaji and North Goa — most often for neurological and
post-surgical cases.
Can I get an idea of what is wrong before coming in?
Yes. The guided Self-Assessment is free to start and
will tell you whether your symptoms need in-person care.
Free guided Self-Assessment
If you are not sure what is wrong or whether you need to be seen, our
guided Self-Assessment is free to start. It asks the
same questions a physiotherapist would ask, screens first for symptoms that need
in-person care, then matches you to one of 23 evidence-graded conditions and
gives you a phase-by-phase exercise protocol drawn from international clinical
practice guidelines. It is built and reviewed by the Kairos physiotherapists, not
a generic chatbot, and it tells you plainly when you should stop and come in.
